Banksia Built was founded by Mark and Drew through a shared belief that the experience of building had lost something important.

After more than a decade working/project managing across residential and commercial construction, they saw first hand how an industry driven by speed, ego and transaction often left clients feeling overwhelmed, unheard and disconnected from their own projects. Homes were being treated as products, and the people behind them as part of a process.

Banksia was created as a response to that. Built on a more thoughtful and collaborative approach to construction, Banksia exists to create spaces with genuine care for both people and place. Every project is approached holistically, balancing beautiful design with practical execution, clear communication and strong working relationships from beginning to end.

For Mark and Drew, building is deeply personal. It’s not just about delivering a finished product, but about creating an experience where clients feel heard, involved and supported throughout the journey. Whether working on large-scale homes or carefully detailed renovations, the focus remains the same: thoughtful construction, quality craftsmanship and spaces that feel deeply connected to the people who live in them.
